These terms cover your use of the Plant Dr AI iOS app. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
You photograph a plant. The photo is analysed by an AI model, which returns a possible diagnosis and suggested care steps, and tracks changes across repeat checkups.
The app gives general information, not professional advice. Diagnoses are produced by an AI model from a single photograph. They are frequently uncertain and sometimes wrong. A photograph cannot show roots, soil chemistry, recent history, or local conditions, all of which affect what is actually wrong with a plant.
The app may suggest applying products such as fungicides, insecticides, oils or soaps. If you choose to act on such a suggestion:
You are responsible for deciding whether to act on anything the app suggests, and for doing so safely and lawfully.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that diagnoses will be correct, that the app will be uninterrupted, or that results will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from any action you take based on it — including damage to plants, crops, property, or financial loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. You may also have statutory consumer rights that these terms do not affect.
The app creates an account for your device so it works before you sign up. You may create a full account, and you may delete it and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete my account and all data.
Please don't use the app to break the law, upload content you have no right to, attempt to bypass usage limits, interfere with the service, or misuse the advertising features. We may suspend access where the service is being abused.
There is a daily limit on diagnoses, because each one costs us money to produce. You may optionally watch a short advert to earn an extra checkup. Watching is entirely voluntary, and no other feature is gated behind adverts. Limits may change.
Our Privacy Policy explains what the app collects and who else sees it. It forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where significant, surfaced in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
